Dedicated to the Greek and Roman god Apollo, the temple has 48 Ionic columns and stands on a high podium. In this compound, you will find a bronze statue of Apollo archer and the bust of Diana in the original locations that they were in before it was buried under debris.
The site is fabled for its wall frescos which are believed to illustrate the initiation of a young woman into a Greco-Roman mystery cult. It was discovered in 1910 and is said to have belonged to the Istacidii’s, a wealthy family that resided in Pompeii during the Augustan Era.
Also known as the Homeric House or The Iliadic House, this is 2nd Century villa is deemed to have the best interiors amongst all the houses in Pompeii due to the still-visible frescoes and elegant decor. Archaeologist Antonio Bonucci excavated the house in 1824.
Dedicated to Isis, an Egyptian goddess, this was one of the first sites that surfaced when the Pompeii excavations began. Principal devotees of the temple are believed to be women, slaves, and freedmen. It used as a forum for social, political, and economic gatherings.
Pompeii Spectacula, the amphitheater of Pompeii, dates back to around 70 BC. It is not only the oldest surviving Roman amphitheater made of stone but also predates the Colosseum in Rome by over a century!
The Stabian Baths stand close to the Forum and are the oldest in the city. It is evidently divided into 2 sections along the same axis: male and female, with a courtyard gym. Much like other Roman baths, there were different rooms with thermal pools of different temperatures and depths.
Spanning an entire block, the House of Vettii is one of the largest in Pompeii, preserved in almost pristine condition. This luxurious Domus, through its fresco and pictorial depictions, tells a great deal about the rich merchants of Pompeii. It is said that the brothers Aulo Vettio Restituto and Aulo Vettio Conviva who owned the house, had the walls decorated by one of the best painters in Pompeii in order to flaunt their status symbol.
Also known as Casa del Fauno, this house was built during the 2nd century BC and is found to be one of the largest and most impressive private residences in Pompeii. This luxurious aristocratic household was home to several famed pieces of art like the legendary Alexander Mosaic, and speaks a great deal about the lives of the rich Romans. It houses 2 atriums, one intended for residence and the other for work.
The Forum was the hub of cultural and political life in Pompeii. It housed the marketplace, bathhouses, and a unique, cross-shaped courthouse that later influenced European churches. Despite the ruins, Pompeii's grandeur and elegance live on through its intricate architecture and town designs.
In Pompeii’s later years, the colonnaded structure behind the Theatre served as gladiator barracks. It housed a kitchen, mess hall, stables, and an armory. Excavations revealed helmets and ornate parade armor in several rooms.
The Basilica of Pompeii, built in the 2nd century BC, was the town’s main law court and commercial hub. Located near the Forum’s west corner, it is one of Pompeii’s oldest and most significant public buildings.
An audio guide is a great option in this case. As guides usually steer tourists along a set route, you can choose to chart your own course without missing out on crucial information by booking an audio guide tour. These audio guides are of premium quality and can be availed in Italian, English, French, Spanish or German.

At a steal, you can also book Combo (Save 5%): Pompeii + Herculaneum Tickets to tick off both these prime attractions in the Vesuvian region.

You can explore Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius or opt for a combo ticket like Naples National Archaeological Museum + Pompeii or Pompeii + Herculaneum. If you're traveling from Naples or Sorrento, consider a day tour such as From Sorrento: Pompeii Guided Tour with Optional Vesuvius Visit or From Naples: Pompeii Guided Tour with Optional Herculaneum or Vesuvius Visit for a more comprehensive experience.
Yes. Various pathways have been constructed to ensure ease of movement. Differently-abled visitors can enter Pompeii through the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance.
The staff were really friendly. We were a bit lost at first trying to find our audioguide, but they quickly helped us find our way. The site is incredible. To fully enjoy it, I recommend a good day there. We did (10-16h).
Even if you have tickets bought online, you still have to queue at the entrance to exchange them for paper tickets. With the digital auudioguide, geolocation isn't always accurate and you spend a lot of time looking for the commentary you're looking for. After a 3-hour visit, the audioguide had used up all my phone battery. But the advantage of this formula is the very democratic price.
There were many fascinating things to see, e.g. the grand piazzas and the domus of all the historical people who lived there. Following the Via dell'Abbondanza was really like following in the footsteps of all those who thrived there, giving room for imagination.
I went even when there were few people, the lines were short. At the entrance some ladies wanted to sneak in because they had a special pass, very bad taste and the girl at the reception was going to let them pass without even explaining but we didn't let them. Shouting and so on. A very unpleasant experience. Pompeii, no words! A marvel. Very very big, you can't find a trash can and there is only one aid station, that while you find it, you can die. Especially if the temperature rises and the heat suffocates you. I did not find a guide person to help us in the tours, but I did find one or another village. A mandatory visit, go with time and with the desire to walk for hours. One of the best experiences!
It's my second time around but with audio guide. Pompeii always blows my mind and I love history. Mi had a different experience with guided tours and audio guided tours. Both are amazing and With audio guided tours I had a freedom to be on my own and I visited places I was not before. But also the guided tours was great experience. Super great experience despite the heat.
Queue to get the audio guides (I phones set up in preparation) was short so waited max of 5 mins. Be prepared to hand over your passport or drivers licence as security. So you must ensure you plan to go back to the same office to return phones later and retrieve your item! We had a disabled person with us so security very kindly showed us a quick route into the museum building. It was busy but easily manageable. The map is clear and nformation useful but you cam still enjoy the walk around without it. You have to hold the phone up to listen, or take your own earphones!. Sometimes hard to navigate the screen to find the correct reference point, due to the bright sun.
The city is really amazing, everything is very well described, it is a pity that there are not more toilets and a place where you can have a snack.
With the online ticket we were able to go straight to the fastline and pick up our entrance ticket and audio guide within 5 minutes so that we could walk through Pompei completely independently without having to follow a specific order
Pompeii was very beautiful, and I'm glad we got to experience it. Still had to wait in a bit of a line, however much shorter than the actual ticket line. It was busy, but there were some points where there was no one else near us. It made for good photo opportunities.
Go there. Fantastic. Bring water and walk slowly. Consider the official audio guide. Or use AI (like fx ChatGPT) for very precise guidance. Very hot June to August.
I purchased tickets long before my chosen day to go to Pompeii. The day I arrived I found out that admission was free as it was the first Sunday of the month. Or at any rate it was June 2. I contacted the site explaining the incident and within a few days they refunded me the full amount. I was very pleased. Congratulations. I will reuse this application as soon as I can.
Obviously it's good to save a bit by buying dual tickets. That said it seems a bit daft that at Pompeii you have to queue to change from a digital ticket to a paper one to get in. Surely this needs updating to save everyone time and money.
I liked how informative the audio guide was, however some of the sections did not match the experience, for example the audio guide told you to go instead when on this day you could not enter the villas.
Was very hectic at the entry no real idea or signs as to what que to join. Qued for 30 min and ppl were buying tickets so we went to gate fir entry to be wild we had to exchange our online ticket and sent back in the que for another 40 min very badly organised saves no time buying online just 1 huge que ppl getting frustrated staff quire unhelpful n miserable I can understand why Pompei was amazing once we got in it has been a dream if mine to visit
Pompeii was so far the best highlight on my trip. It was worth it every penny spent on the ticket. I'd definitely recommend doing the tour to anyone. Not very good for kids though.
Great day exploring two very unique UNESCO historical archealogical sites as part of our honeymoon in Italy! We started at the Herculaneum first thing in the morning and were among the first visitors for the day. This was awesome as we avoided lots of crowds and school groups as we explored the ruins and followed our own self guided tour. The preservation of the artefacts was phenomenal and we were able to see active digging/restoration as we explored. We then went to Pompeii in the afternoon and again enjoyed a walk through history following a self-guided audio tour through the ancient city. We weren't able to skip-the-line at Pompeii as advertised by the booking and had to join the general queue to get out tickets from the voucher. We drove to both sites and parking was easily found - even in the afternoon when it was quite busy at Pompeii.
The ticket collection can be confusing but ones you are in the correct line all went well. The site itself was amazing which we spent 6hrs taking in.
We loved everything. The shopping experience was easy and simple, what should be improved especially in this kind of places is the entrance. It doesn't make much sense to buy online and then wait in line if there is even a QR code. Other than that, perfect.
The architecture of Pompeii for its time was so modern and ahead of its time. I loved learning about its history and experience all of the atmosphere and embrace its beauty. Getting the tickets was so easy and the site was amazing to see.
A herculanum super experience We received our tickets by e-mail the day before and were able to go straight in. In Pompeii, however, we had to queue up again at the cash desk to transform our mail pass into a ticket with a qr code. It took us 1 hour
Fantastic place, walking the streets of a Roman town was amazing. The audio guide was very informative, so much to see so be selective!
Pompeii is an impressive place. The audio guide explanations are very good. Too bad we couldn't see the amphitheater.
You can't get in without queuing because you have to collect your tickets on site, but it was still okay. The Plus Ticket was good for the additional opportunity to see the Mystery Villa for the really impressive murals, the Archeologicum was unfortunately closed. It makes sense to plan a whole day to visit the excavations, including arrival and departure, comfortable shoes are also highly recommended. The archaeological finds from Pompeii are best seen in the National Museum in Naples.
The sight itself is stunning! However, I planned to buy a ticket to Pompeji online, but I was not able to do that. I had to buy a voucher and once there I was supposed to queue up and exchange the voucher for a ticket. Why?
superrrrrrrrrrrrrr cool .History

We had a great time on this tour and it was just the right amount of history and humour for a family of different ages and interests. Our guide Frankie was excellent at keeping us away from crowds and in the shade as much as possible and made the experience "fantastico". Would recommend.
Ma Laura was a kind and experienced guide that game us a lot of information on facts abou Pompei. This tour was great thanks to Ma Laura! Thank you very much!!!
Our time spent at Pompeii was unforgettable. I will treasure the memories forever. What a remarkable place to visit and our tour guide was very so good 😊 explaining everything and showing us all the fascinating sites , steeped in history.
Thanks to the humor and eruption of our archaeologist guide Hillary, we had an extraordinary visit. Bravo, I recommend this formula.
The crowds were enormous, because it was the first Sunday of the month and the entrance for the rest of the people was free. Our guide explained to us that on 2nd of June is the day of the Republic so that's why the crowds were so big. Roberta was great in taking us to see the best places as she used to work there 7 years ago. Although she is small -as she mentioned several times- she could make herself heard and seen and she was the perfect guide. Her knowledge in history and archaeology is only overshined by her great spirit and atitudine. Also, she has a great smile! Thanks, Roberta for the cool experience on such a hot day!
It was really great, the organization was perfect, the guide Antonio was great and gave us a better understanding of the history of this extraordinary site.
I spent HOURS of time looking at tours, reading reviews and weighing one against the other. I am so glad i purchased this tour for our family of 5 (2 adults, 20 year old and 18 year old). Our tour guide - a third generation tour guide - was FABULOUS. He hit the right mix of funny , historically accurate and culturally insightful. He made it personal to the entire group and worked hard to make sure everyone felt included and connected.
In my case, the best part of the activity was the murals and that the paintings were well preserved. And with regard to booking with headout it was super easy and fast, very well organised and also very good guide!! The truth is super recommended!!
Everything was so easy! From booking to meeting place. I was even contacted by WhatsApp to avoid the inconvenience of a free day at pompei which would have been a very busy day. The guided tour was efficient and very interesting. In short, a faultless tour. Thanks to the whole team (I was initially worried when I booked, reading some of the comments). For us: it was perfect!
We enjoyed the experience and our guide was informative, we avoided the crowds. The meeting point instruction was clear (thanks to the Google map photo attached) and it was organized.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. He was great sbout checking in to make sure he wasn't going into too much detail. We learned many new things and this was our 3rd visit to Pompeii.
Our guide was perfect! She was an architect and everything she told us was underlined by the shine in her eyes, which let us feel, that this place is the most fantastic of the world. We'd immediately book another tour with her! The german was super as well and she was very patient and answered every single question we had! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall it was a great tour. The only gripe I may have (I am searching to find a legitimate one) was the crowds and long lines getting in. We waiting for an hour to get through the entry gate. Once inside, it was very fascinating to see the ruins. I didn't know it was such a large city... I recommend this. Roberta was a great guide!! Super fun.
The guide was excellent – professional and pleasant. The tour was fascinating. The meeting point was in a shaded area on the second floor of the train station, but unfortunately, there was no clear signage to help locate it easily.
I loved the private guided tour. The guide had so much information and was so funny. Really enjoyed everything about the tour
The German-speaking guide was excellent and extremely interesting and entertaining. After a two-hour guided tour, we stayed in Pompeii for a few more hours - a fantastic experience to stroll through an ancient city. A visit is highly recommended - as well as sun protection and good shoes! :-)
I thought the guide was great! Cheerful and particularly precise about what she was telling us, she recounted in detail and was able to answer questions.
I did the Pompeii guided tour on Monday 19 May, Our Guide Giuseppe was fabulous - he was obviously passionate about roman history and passed on his knowledge in a friendly, fun manner. After the tour ended I stayed in the park to the end of the day and Giuseppe's tour helped with the rest of my sightseeing afternoon. Thankyou Giuseppe 🙏❤️
Although it was very crowded our guide expertly got us into places where we could see and gave us excellent and interesting commentary and he was fun!
The competence, kindness of our guide. (Mr. Camillo) .The perfect organization, as I had to change the day of the visit reservation in a very short time
Our tour guide Rrrrrrrrosanna, was very engaging, knowledgeable and easy to understand, which made our tour one of the highlights of our holiday. Would definitely recommend anyone to go on this guided tour if going to Pompeii!
The archaeologist guide brought Pompeii to life with riveting and informative explanations. Everything flowed well, and all of the information was digestible. We got to see and learn about many of the interesting areas of Pompeii, and we were given extra advice for things we could explore on our own.
The guide's explanations were very interesting. I emphasize how important it is that the guides are updated on the latest findings. In addition, the funny comments enlivened the speech.
We had a guide in Pompei, Antoniella, who was very good. She didn't recite her text, her explanations were captivating.
Silvia is a great guide! She immerses us in history with humor and lightness. Her explanations allowed us to really immerse ourselves in the place and imagine life as it was back then. Many thanks to her for sharing her passion with us! We highly recommend this visit!

Pompeii was an awesome exprience. I did not expect how huge and well precerved the Pompeii was. Our guide Renaldo was the best you can get. So full of interesting stories and knowledge. If possible in the future, we Will comeback back. Really a lifetime experience.
Did the 12:30 PM afternoon tour and it was a lot less crowded than I anticipated. Our tour guide covered all the basics. And provided time for us to go back and explore on our own.
Fantastic place, walking the streets of a Roman town was amazing. The audio guide was very informative, so much to see so be selective!
What a great tour, very informative and our guide was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Pompeii. Being part of a tour allowed us to avoid some lines as well.
Pompeii is an impressive place. The audio guide explanations are very good. Too bad we couldn't see the amphitheater.
The skip the line certainly did it's job, the other queues were quite long. Audio guide was very informative
Organised. Prompt star.t. Very knowledgeable guide.
It was great to skip the line and go on.
Great site to visit, but no skip the line still had to queue.
The guide was really caring and make the tour humorous ☺️
The guide Angelo was excellent!
First in so promptly helped. Pompeii made a smashing impression.
Speedy and friendly. Easy access as advertised.
We enjoyed our stay in Pompei. Seeing the ruins was a great experience for us. We really enjoyed it.

Roberta was a brilliant guide - super friendly, knowledgeable and managed our group well. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Pompeii for two hours with a guide. And the transfer to Pompeii from Naples and from Pompeii to Naples was very prompt, handy and simple - just be sure to show up to the transfer on time as they leave right on time!
Last minutes changes put ne in a bit of a rush. Appreciate that they accomodate and wait for my arrival to start. Micheal the guide/archeologist was a fountain of knowledge, he made it all well worth it. Both Pompeii and Ercolano are well worth visiting.
Very good, Well arranged and a very knowledgable guide. Glad to recommend.
Very well organized transport to and from Pompei. Francesco, our driver a fantastic nice guy who keeps an incredibly high level of service. The guide Jolanta kept a high and good level.
I was amazed by Francesca , our host
The driving was perfect. The guiding was fun and everything perfect apart from that the guide went forward at one time with only half of the group. Luckily it was possible to call one of those who left with her to find out where to go! What we didn't like is that the tour was advertised to start with a pick up at 7:30 but didn't start until 55 minutes later. We only got to know that the tour was to start at 8:30 when another group was picked up from the same company around 8:10. After waiting 40 minutes.
The entire experience was great! We were picked up by bus, got to see Pompeii and Vesuvius, got something good to eat along the way and were supported by our great guide Daniel and our busdriver. Daniel was lot's of fun and explained a lot of interesting historical and local facts to us about Neaples and our destinations. Thank you, I would definitly recommend it +1
Our visit to Pompei and Herkulaneum was truly amazing, as we had an incredible tour guide who turned out to be also a professional archaeologist. Michael made the trip interesting and fun. Our driver Pasquale got us perfectly on time back to Naples centre!
The guide to Pompeii was very tidious. Her english was not so good. Most of the time, she spoke on unimportant details. this made the tour in Pompeii very unplesent.
Excellent tour guide made it very entertaining while showing the most important parts of the sites. It was a great tour, well worth the money.

Everything went very well. I bought the tickets to Pomnei without queuing and it is really worth it especially in the hot season.
It was easy to buy the tickets and once we figured out where we needed to go to pick them up, it was quite easy!
The perfectly preserved excavation sites in Pompeii...
I like the story very much
Tres beau site bien conserve interesant il etait tres en avance sur leur temps il leur manquait que internet
Fast entry. Everything went really well. We'd love to do it again.
It feels like going back to imperial Rome
Very nice experience of ercolano and Pompeii
In your app it says, bring id. You needy be more specific, because we did not expect that we had to show id for our children. Furthermore, belære specific about the voucher. You have to get s psychical ticket to get in. It took quite a while to get that. Why not provide the customer with a QR code in the app when you buy the ticket in the first place? A pdf file would do it
Would definitely order tickets from home, could be clearer that you need to get a ticket in a line before heading home in. But we avoided the queue to buy a ticket
The entry is very poor. With no clear way in as we very slowly moved forward. We spent at least 30 minutes just trying to enter
It's a pity that we only had a confirmation of purchase and not tickets, which meant we had to queue anyway.

Nelo and Luigi were the best. Nelo was funny and very knowledgeable and Luigi got us to our destination safely.
The guide was very resourceful and knowledgeable. We found out new interesting things about Pompei and it's one of a kind experience to see the ruins in person.
The problem we encountered was that the whole group (30 people) had to wait for the identity of people under 25 (2 people) to be checked, as well as the free ticket for 1 person.
The guide was informative and pleasant. The audio was necessary due to the large size of the group. The group size was too large and entry was chaotic. The promise that we would skip the line was false. It took more than a hour to reach the entrance and only half of the group made it through. We purchased the option to go to Vesuvius but were too delayed by the chaos to make it. People not in our group were pressing upon us. It was dangerously crowded. At the end of the day the train line had a mechanical problem and over 1000 people had accumulated at the station. No one could tell us how to get back to Sorrento.
Pompei very interesting and Vesuvius cool but far too large a group. Tour guide entertaining, you have to like... For me too drawn out, almost obliged to eat there, I don't like it. I am generally more of an individual tourist.
Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
The travel was moeading, was not me tip ed a train trip
An unforgettable excursion to Pompeii and Vesuvius Our excursion to Pompeii and Vesuvius was a real highlight of our trip - a perfect combination of impressive history, breathtaking nature and warm company. The guided tour of Pompeii with Vincente was simply fantastic. He guided us through the fascinating ruins of the ancient city with a great deal of passion and an enormous wealth of knowledge. You could feel his passion for history in every explanation. Vincente managed to bring times long past to life - exciting, understandable and always with a smile. After a short drive, we continued on to Vesuvius. Here, too, we were well accompanied - tour guide Mimi delighted us with exciting facts about the volcano. Her stories were informative, entertaining and gave us a great insight into the nature and history of the region. Once we reached the top, we were rewarded with a spectacular view over Naples - simply breathtaking! A big compliment also goes to our coach driver Gigi. He drove us through tight bends and the sometimes challenging road traffic with absolute calm, aplomb and a safe driving style. Thanks to him, we felt completely at ease and safe during the entire trip. All in all, this day was perfectly organized and will remain in our memories for a long time to come. Many thanks to Vincente, Mimi and Gigi - you made this trip something very special! i liked the guide at Pompeii. He was quite knowledgeable and personable. But the day was pouring rain and it was a bit hard to navégate the streets which were actually flowing creeks. Hard to see much in the rain. I'm going back again tomorrow and hoping for better weather.
Our tour guide for Pompeii was great! She gave us so much information and you can tell she had a passion for the site. Merica pur coordinator and guide to the site was fun and kept us all in order. I would definitely recommend this trip.
Enjoy a guided Pompeii tour with skip-the-line entry and transfers from Sorrento.

Christian may be the best bus driver in the world! My guy has got skills, not only did he get us there and back I was so impressed I just had to tip him 20 Euro for a safe travel day! Mara was incredible, friendly and outgoing, she was extremely knowledgeable not only about destinations but sites along the way. She enhanced the ride by providing us music that was born from the locations she was telling us about giving us a deeper appreciation for the entire country of Italy and not just our paid destination spots! I would definitely recommend these two together if you're lucky enough to get them!
9 hours inside a bus. 50 minutes for a Quick Lunch in Sorrento where theres nothing to do in that time and 2 hours for a fast visit to Pompei. Not a goof way to organize a visit like this. Not doing it again.
The transport to activity ratio was not acceptable. The trip to Sorrento was in our opinion unnecessary as our aim was visiting Pompeii - i.e. we drove in the wrong direction for too long. We would have preferred more time in Pompeii as we ended up only having two hours and our guide had initially from the beginning informed us that we would have four hours.
We choose the tour solely because it stated 3 hours in Pompeii. In total the stop was 2 hours and 15 min was gone because the guide had to collect the tickets so we ran around in 1.45 min trying to see some highlights my husband had wanted to see for over 40 years so quite a disappointment.
I did an extensive chat with your people WHILE on this tour. Your info said we would have 3 hrs in Pompeii; contracted tour operator said 1.5 hrs only. We waited far too long for people in Sorrento (45 mins before leaving w/o them) and then had to wait for the guide to return at Pompeii (45 mins) although he told us to be back at a certain time. So misguided. Never got "skip the line" tix, although prepaid. After doing extensive research for the tour with the most time in Pompeii were we were both extremely disappointed!!
Very bad and boring trip we didn't enjoyed
We have fantastic time visiting all the places organising everything online was easy and no problem great to be picked up and dropped back to city the attractions were amazing also the scenery and weather which helped the experience too 👍100%
Very good organization, bus on time and clean, nice bus driver. One stop each on the way there and back. We had only booked the bus trip with entrance tickets and still got good tips from the tour guide on board, as well as during the trip in English and Spanish. We hired an audio guide on site for 10 euros and off we went. About 3.5 hours on site!
Excellent trip, the guide transmitted knowledge during the trip about the places we went through. The driver was a very good driver. We will repeat
Highly recommend this tour! The bus ride to and from was smooth and the staff are very kind. Samuel was the leader for my bus/tour and he was amazing. Stopped at a giftshop/cafe when we left Rome and on or way back. Very friendly and helpful. I got stuck in the store in Pompeii when we were supposed to leave and he went back to the site just to get me so I could find the bus and not be left! We had about four hours of time to walk around (I did not do a tour guide, I walked around freely) and I didn't see everything but it is a huge city so it's not a big deal. Very good experience and zero complaints!
Plenty of time to explore the site... We hadn't booked lunch or an audioguide, but it was flexible and we could add those extras on the day. Our guide was so friendly and helpful. We loved it!
An excellent experience. The guide is really good I recommend Thank you Walter

Super friendly guide who was very happy to tailor the tour to the places we really wanted to see. Knowledgeable and happy to answer questions we had about Pompeii. Really positive experience
The guide was lovely and very knowledgeable she made Pompeii come to life. And explained things very clearly well worth every penny I would fully recommend a personal guided tour.
Rosana, an archaeologist, is an excellent and professional Pompeii guide. She showed us the ancient city, which was buried by Vesuvius almost 2,000 years ago, in an exciting, entertaining and knowledgeable way. We will definitely be back, as we were very impressed by the excavations, you need more than one day to see everything and the excavations have not yet been completed.
The absolute expertise of the guide Rossa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Top tour with top guide (Mimma). We were very satisfied.
Our guide Vito was so knowledgeable, his English was brilliant, and he really brought Pompei to life for us.
Exceptional site and exceptional guide, thank you Federica.
Thanks to Rosario for this fascinating visit, and to her ancestors too, of course.
The tour was fantastic. The guide Rossana was attentive, engaging and knowledgeable. A strong recommendation!
Our guide was brilliant. Absolutely new the detail you would expect from an archiologist. Conducted visit at our pace whilst ensuring we saw key parts. Going early gave us more space as well.
Super Guide (Roberta). Extraordinary knowledge of the site and its history. She made the visit very lively and informative.
We learned more in the first 30 min about pompeii than we wouldve learned with an audio guide in 4 hours
Frederica, our guide was amazing! We had a great visit, and highly recommend the tour.
Francesa was vey knowledgable and made the experience so interesting. Despite the torrential rain, we had an amazing time, understanding the history of Pompeii. I would highly recommend the private tour.
Fantastic tour with Vincenzo and the highlight of our time in Pompeii. He took us to less crowded parts of the city and his descriptions really brought the areas we visited to life. As an archaeologist he had knowledge of facts that other tour guides would not know and also had a sense of humour. The 2 hour tour went by in a flash and we were really disappointed when the tour ended, although he did give us a few tips for our self guided continuing tour of some of the areas we did not have the time to see with him. Overall an extremely interesting tour, not rushed and well worth the cost.
Great! 10/10 the tour was perfect and Giocanni was excellent!
