We loved our visit to Pompeii, largely thanks to our guide, Nello, who is an archaeologist. His guidance really made all the difference: without him, we probably wouldn't have enjoyed discovering the site as much, as there are very few explanations on site. Of course, there is an app, but we didn't use it as we were lucky enough to have a guide. And frankly, interacting directly with someone, asking questions and getting lively explanations is much more rewarding than following an app. We highly recommend taking the tour with a guide: it makes the experience incomparable and much more captivating!
Super good. The guide was charming, highly recommended. Two hours of walking through the most representative houses. The only bad thing was the weather, I recommend going early in the morning.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable experience at the excavations of Pompeii with Archaeologist Guide Grazia D'Onofrio We were lucky enough to visit the excavations of Pompeii with a simply outstanding guide. From the very first moment she managed to capture the attention of everyone, young and old, transforming the visit into a true journey through time. With passion, expertise and a touch of irony, she was able to engage even our group of children, making the history of Pompeii alive and fascinating to their eyes. Thanks to his ability to tell anecdotes, trivia and historical details in a simple but profound way, each stage of the visit was an exciting discovery. It is an experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Pompeii not only as an archaeological site, but as a place that still breathes history and humanity.
Our guide was fantastic, very professional, charming, he explained everything with exquisite knowledge of everything related to Pompeii, our guide was Vincenzo.
An incredible visit to the heart of Pompeii. Our guide Francesco was passionate and fascinating. The city is so immense that a guided tour is essential to discover the secrets and treasures of this site. Invaluable advice at the end of the tour, so that you can continue on your own until the end of the day. Highly recommended.
A complete tour, entertaining and despite the heat our guide made it very enjoyable and interesting. I would definitely repeat. Thank you.
Hi, we loved it! The guide was very nice and everything she told us was very interesting. Excellent choice even though it was summer, because starting at 9.15 am we didn't feel hot. We also liked the exhibition of the woman very much.
Excellent experience! Everything was wonderful. The guide is a wonderful woman who explains and guides you with passion. I congratulate you. Very organized and everything perfect 😍
We had a wonderful experience! Visiting Pompeji had always been my childhood dream and it was special to finally get to do it (with my 2-year old son). Our guide, an archaeologist, was very knowledgable and entertaining (Benedict). He understood well how to get the most out of a 2-hour tour without overwhelming anyone, still being able to answer all the questions we threw at him. The reality is that Pompeji can't be visited within 2 hours only and it was extremely helpful to be on the ground with a guide to show us some of the many highlights (especially, while being with a toddler). Totally recommended! Would do it again anytime!
We were welcomed and registered at the agreed meeting point, assigned a guide and given our receivers. The guide was very knowledgeable, humorous and answered the participants' questions at all times. The 2-hour guided tour of Pompeii was filled with lots of interesting information and stories that allowed you to immerse yourself a little in life almost 2000 years ago. Great tour!!!
Rafael was so kind and gave us a lot of useful information, he was a perfect guide!! Nevertheless, the group was bigger than we expected and to go inside some places in the site was a little bit stressful
Unique experience , with the prepared and engaging guide Edward was able to immerse us in what was an evolved civilization if we think of the era. Without him it would not have been the same.
Our tour guide Vincenzo was awesome! He was so informative and showed us so many highlights that we would've missed if we went on our own.
We had visited Pompeii before without a guide and left with many questions. Some we managed to figure out on our own, but so much remained hidden in plain sight. This time, with Sarah as our guide, the experience was completely transformed. She pointed out amazing details we never would have noticed on our own, like the tiny marble inlays in the streets that reflected moonlight to help people navigate at night, or the worn-down edges of drinking fountains shaped by centuries of hands leaning for support. Sarah brought both the city’s history and its humanity to life with insight, warmth, and storytelling that was both vivid and deeply knowledgeable. Even our friend from Texas, whom we had met on a previous hike, felt a new connection to European roots and history through this experience. We can’t recommend Sarah enough. A fantastic guide who made Pompeii unforgettable.
We found it very interesting and all the history behind this city that was once buried by the Vesuvius volcano, is worth knowing and visiting.
Our guide was an expert regarding the history and archaeological details of Pompei. We learned so many details that broadened our understanding and captured our attention.
The city tour of Bompaje was excellently organized and very informative. The guide impressed us with his in-depth knowledge, interesting anecdotes and pleasant manner. An all-round successful tour that was both historically and culturally fascinating - absolutely recommendable
The tour is fine, they show you significant things and you can ask questions. You get an idea of the city and they explain curiosities, you visit a terma (not inside), the lupanar, the forum, stores, the macellum and some villa, but it is really just an appetizer, Pompeii is so big that in 2 hours you only see a few things. It is worth asking the guide other places to visit and stay a few more hours visiting the rest of the places at your own pace, like the amphitheater and other villas, a city of 20,000 inhabitants can not be seen in a while, you have to take advantage of the entrance and stay there all day. I recommend then to go on your own to the Villa of the Mysteries which is not included in the general entrance of Pompeii (nor in this visit), as it is paid separately (in the past it was not so), you have to pay 8 € to go to that villa and the villa of Nicomedes, with that ticket then a bus takes you to the site of Boscoreale which includes an archaeological visit and a museum.
The organization, the welcome on arrival, and above all our guide, Anna, passionate and fascinating: a well of knowledge that enabled us to discover this exceptional place with all the knowledge we needed.
Very informative and clear. Very nice guide who explained everything well. You don't miss a single detail with the audio guide in your ear.
I thought the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I also thought being able to skip the line was a nice benefit
Absolutely incredible experience! The 2-hour guided tour of Pompeii was the perfect way to explore this vast archaeological site without feeling overwhelmed. Our English-speaking guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also passionate about Roman history, which made the ruins come to life in an unforgettable way. The tour covered the highlights of the ancient city, including the Forum, the baths, the brothel (Lupanar), and several well-preserved homes with frescoes still intact. The guide provided fascinating context about daily life in Pompeii before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, weaving in stories that made it feel personal and engaging. It was the right balance of walking and listening—never rushed, and plenty of time to take photos and ask questions. Headsets were provided so we could hear everything clearly, even in busier sections of the site. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pompeii for the first time. It saves you hours of wandering aimlessly and gives you a much deeper understanding of what you’re seeing. Two hours flew by, and I left with a sense of awe at the complexity and tragedy of this once-thriving Roman city.
The guide was fantastic. We had a very interactive tour with great insights about the site and feel that we understand a bit better the complexity of Pompei. The group was small and we had a lot of fun together. Overall great experience.
Headout app was easy and comprehensive to navigate. I managed to squeeze in to purchase last minute tickets to Pompei with archaeologist the night before. Once bought, the agency (Askos) was in touch via email and WhatsApp to confirm the booking, and give reminders to be on time. Straight forward instructions to reach, and saved quite a bit of $$ using public transport to the location. Really made my Naples trip a memorable one, so much so that I used to buy tickets to the catacombs too. They even gave discounts for future Headout purchases. I highly recommend this platform.
We ended up arriving late in the day (around 4) and there was no line at all. We went in immediately, looked around the first floor of the palazzo but tried to get into the garden as soon as possible. They close at 7:30, but we had plenty of time and were able to pretty much see everything. Even the Grotto of Diana that reopened after a major renovation (and being closed for 40 years!) it's quite amazing. I hope they will continue to renovate and be able to maybe even bring some fountains back. You can see a lot of work is happening. We also got to hear the organ fountain. It plays every 2 hours on the 1/2 hr. (10:30, 12:30, etc) so amazing

The guided tour is really worth it. We had a really knowledgeable guide, who was also choosing the route in a way to avoid the crowds. And with the ear piece, it is easy to hear while not being close, allowing to look around.

Really lived up to its name as we skipped pretty much all the clues. Paulo (our guide) took us where the queues weren't; and was on good terms with every crowd controller (most were ladies - just saying) and knew absolutely everything we needed to know. It was very interesting to see the ongoing excavations under the high tech structure and appreciate how much material is moved to access this town frozen in time. It is still possible to imagine the owners of these villas and understand some of how their world operated before that fateful day, and a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide like Paulo is key to that.
We had a great time on this tour and it was just the right amount of history and humour for a family of different ages and interests. Our guide Frankie was excellent at keeping us away from crowds and in the shade as much as possible and made the experience "fantastico". Would recommend.
Ma Laura was a kind and experienced guide that game us a lot of information on facts abou Pompei. This tour was great thanks to Ma Laura! Thank you very much!!!
Our time spent at Pompeii was unforgettable. I will treasure the memories forever. What a remarkable place to visit and our tour guide was very so good 😊 explaining everything and showing us all the fascinating sites , steeped in history.
Thanks to the humor and eruption of our archaeologist guide Hillary, we had an extraordinary visit. Bravo, I recommend this formula.
The crowds were enormous, because it was the first Sunday of the month and the entrance for the rest of the people was free. Our guide explained to us that on 2nd of June is the day of the Republic so that's why the crowds were so big. Roberta was great in taking us to see the best places as she used to work there 7 years ago. Although she is small -as she mentioned several times- she could make herself heard and seen and she was the perfect guide. Her knowledge in history and archaeology is only overshined by her great spirit and atitudine. Also, she has a great smile! Thanks, Roberta for the cool experience on such a hot day!

It was a wonderful experience. I was near Naples for work, and I had a 9 p.m. flight back that day ... so I wanted to spend the day in Naples, but I was alone and I don't know the city at all. So I chose these buses and I was thrilled...beautiful the tours they make, nice and nice the explanations. Great drivers to drive in that chaos...great experience!
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great service, easy to order through the app and had a great day.
Beautiful tour very kind staff
Highly recommended. You can use both lines with one ticket (A - a historical centre and B - with another city side with an amazing views to city and Volcano).
The Hop on Hop off bus route is really great. It allows you to see the most emblematic places in Naples from a comfortable seat. We enjoyed the different sights we passed and the freedom to get off or not as we pleased. Thanks a lot!
I liked Naples so much and it was good because we could see so many beautiful places and the explanations well done along with the beautiful Neapolitan music the only one I didn't like were some of the boys who accompanied us , the girl was good but the boys not so much...
Great service for those who want an overview of the city and are short on time...there are two tours...Blue panoramic wonderful with breathtaking views of Naples and Gulf...with Vesuvius in the background...Red....a city center...less panoramic but gives you an approach to the city and its vitality....I recommend it....
The bus was fine and the audio oké. But Napels is in my opinion not equiped for big busses. It is to crowded on the streets, and a long time we were just standing still.
A of course Naples and its colors!!! Chaotic traffic although it was Sunday. Dirty buses, litter, garbage abandoned by previous travelers!!!
Tour A (downtown) useful for a first approach to the city. Tour B wonderful! Magnificent views, ideal for a relaxing afternoon tour.
With the kids and the heat it was really pleasant to stop where we wanted to go and listen to the historical facts around the city
Getting tickets was easy , phone ticket exchanged on the bus for a paper ticket. We did both routes and given the heat and bright sun were pleased to have the roof on. Staff were friendly and attentive .
The itineraries help us tourists reach more places in less time, the staff very helpful and friendly. Special kudos to the drivers who drive in chaotic and quaint traffic.
Saw most of Naples. I took both bus trips which were completely different from each other. It was awesome just to relax a bit and just see beautiful Italy from the bus.
The staff were very stressed and we were simply rushed through and no questions were answered. The signs at the various bus stations were sometimes so small that we had to look for where we could drop off again.
The Hop-on Hop-off bus drive around the coastline of Naples was well worth the price. However, there was often a 30-minute wait standing in line to get on a bus for our trip at the end of May. Bring sunscreen and a good hat for sitting on the upper level of the bus while wating and not hardly moving in the heavy traffic around the city of Naples.
In Naples everything was perfect, the assistant even checked that everyone had their belts on. I also used it in Barcelona in Spain and the headphones were not working in many places.
Good experience Good explanations, in several languages Not always "easy" to really get off, get on again on some stops
Bus in excellent condition, very high frequency
The blue circuit is magnificent. But the red one is a bit short.
Nice staff, beautiful views, bus ok CONS: no portuguese available, city needs a cleaning
Very punctual and professional
We did both tours and discovered the beauty and history of Naples. We recommend this tour.

Our guide Edoardo, was kind and knowledgeable. He gave us the opportunity to learn about this very interesting reality of Herculaneum.
We had an amazing guide Luciano who was very funny and enjoyable to listen to. We learned a lot from his stories and he also brought a map full of pictures to help us visualize the story. The site is also very beautiful and it tells the story from millennia ago. The cats are a fun bonus!
Tickets were easy to obtain. When we arrived at the Herculaneum site we were greeted by the check in lady. We were introduced to the Archaeologist Theresa who was brilliant. The tour started on time with the small group as was promised. We all had headsets and could hear Theresa clearly. Her enthusiasm for her chosen profession was inspiring. I'm so glad she was working with us. I would recommend Theresa and this tour to all who are interested even a little, in the Herculaneum site and its history. You will be drawn in and want to learn more. Herculaneum was the main reason I came to Italy. It was so worth while, I loved every minute. Thank you Theresa!!!
Herculaneum is a gem. It is a very special and interesting visit to make. It is certainly less touristy than the excavations of Pompeii but it is just as good to visit. The guide Ida I had was very knowledgeable, thorough and entertaining in the explanations she gave us. I am very glad I had this visit chosen!
great and very passioned guide. Heraculeum is one of the most interesting spots We've evere been. Absolute phantastic experience with Luciano as guide!!
The meeting point was easy to find. Luciano was a well-informed, passionate, and engaging guide with great insights. The pace was just right, with time for questions and photos, and the group size made it easy to follow along. I enjoyed every minute and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Herculaneum.
Our guide. Luciano, was excellent. He puts alot of effort into the information that he shares on the tour. It is clear that he is very passionate about archaeology .
If you want to get a real feel for what life may have been like for the wealthy inhabitants of Herculaneum then this is the best way. Our guide Luciano Leone was brilliant, so knowledgeable giving bits of information that may be missed on a self guided tour. He ensured that all in the group were able to see the various points of interest, no fear of missing out. Some great information on the difference between the fate of Pompei and Herculaneum and therefore the differences in the archeological sites. There is some wonderfully preserved original mosaics and buildings giving a real idea of what it may have been like nearly 2000 years ago. Absolutely amazing and still looming above is Vesuvio.
Touring Ercolano with an archaeologist makes all the difference. Sergio proved to be very informative and inspiring to the group following him. I highly recommend this tour as the site is much more preserved and possible to cover in two hours. The skeletons and frescoes of the Roman villas are impressive!
Enthusiastic guide, with clear loud voice. Knew a lot to tell and despite the heat, the tour was engaging until the end. Much more enjoyable and better than Pompeii.
Our tour guide Antonella was very friendly and knowledgable. Despite the hot weather she made us love every minute of the tour. Strongly reccommended.
Luciano Leon was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interactive and interesting! The tour was great having an experienced archeologist showing us around
wonderful experience, the tour led by Francesco Longobardi was very interesting and comprehensive. It is an exciting place.
Herculaneum is a different experience than Pompeii, well worth the tour/visit. Our guide was very knowledgeable, giving deep history and comparisons to Pompeii as well as life of inhabitants.
Our guide's simple, understandable explanations. Little anecdotes without the impression of a boring history lesson.
Ticket purchase was really easy and good value. Our guide Lorenzo was really fantastic, full of humour and really knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
The guide was pleasant and knew quite a lot. His spoken English was- as he admitted himself several times- really not at the right level.
Our guide Luciano Leon was awesome! So passionate and knowledgeable. Do not hesitate to book a tour with these guides; they give you much more information and depth. This was the best tour of our Italy trip. Also extremely good booking service. We needed to change our reservation and they were so responsive.
An enjoyable and intimate tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Herculaneum was a highlight of our trip and a better experience than the crowds of Pompeii.
The guide Roberta was exceptional! We learned a lot, and the tour was very complete. All Roberta's explanations helped us really understand how Herculaneum worked back then. Thank you so much!
Fantastic tour with the very passionate and enthusiastic archaeologist Luciano Leone. With his stories you imagine yourself back in Roman life .
All went well until I could see I was running late and the contact number given was not available despite trying to call several times. I ended up having to call head office to contact them, all this being rather stressful for me as I was trying with difficulty to negotiate the railway system... perhaps a reminder could be sent on the day or the tour with a working telephone number in case of delay getting to the meeting point etc. I didn't want up hold the rest of the group and indeed I was able to catch them up at the site eithout too much delay. The guide was very informative and amusing though a little too obsessed with poop and pee etc! Also rather disparaging about other guides and tourist "idiots" and the "ugly" museum!😂. I think he thought we would all be amused by this but I'm not sure everyone was!! He is extremely knowledgeable and energetic and had plenty of excellent visual aids to illustrate various explanations and points he was making.
Flavia , very professional , with the first part of the visit in the museum , and passionate and fascinating We recommend her
I liked the picture showing where to pick the tickets up. Good comms and person meeting us was very helpful. The tour was amazing and very interseting.
Vicenzo was enormously knowledgeable and did an amazing job communicating that knowledge and passion for the material in an entertaining way. Absolutely amazing, would 100% recommend!

Cristina was an excellent guide, explaining everything in detail and with a touch of irony that nicely highlighted the history and culture of Naples. Absolutely a must-do!
It's a wonderful experience, but we feel a bit dissatisfied that we only saw so little of the catacombs. But we still recommend it.
Very good tour of the Catacombs of San Gennaro, for the others I could not go, I did not know how to get the new tickets and I did not trust getting there and not being able to enter because of too many visitors.
My family had a great time learning about the catacombs, the neighborhood and the history and burial practices of the 6th century AD. The surrounding town has great restaurants too!
Really enjoyed visiting the catacombs of San Gaudioso, our guide had great English and very engaging, on seeing this part of the tour was recommended that we visit the San Gennaro catacombs free within the year, we didn't hesitate and booked for the following day, our guide was very enthusastic and really got a sense of what went on here thousands of years before. Would highly recommend.
San Genaro is the more beautiful of the two and more impressive. The guide (in English) was very interesting and clear. San gaudioso (included in the same ticket) was less spectacular and the guide much less comprehensible. Nevertheless, this is a must-see on any trip to Naples. Unfortunately, no photos allowed!
Facinating part of Naples not widely know about. Well worth visiting.
Everything was good, the guide was awesome, but the tour was a little short.
Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide
The guide, Mariana was absolutely awesome! She was informative and funny at the same time. 10/10

We had an amazing experience exploring the Amalfi Coast, Positano, and Pompeii with Niccolò and Marilena "Mari" Niccolò was an excellent and skilled driver, navigating the winding coastal roads with ease and keeping us safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Marilena "Mari" was a wonderful guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating stories that brought each destination to life. Together, they made the journey unforgettable. Highly recommended! Thanks again, from Ireland 🇮🇪
Overall our experience was great! Pompeii and Sorrento are beautiful but we did not see much of the city Cassino ,you just are stuck at a gas station. As someone with an autoimmune disease who gets hot way to fast I did really well on this trip!
What a journey!! And with our amazing guide Claire! A long trip but with plenty of cool stop overs in between to spread the day out and so much interesting information.Pompei! What an experience that will never been forgotten and Sorrento what a gorgeous part of the world! Highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you
What an incredible day trip! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enriching. Our guide, Veronica, and our driver, Daniel, demonstrated exceptional knowledge of the region and its history. Beyond their expertise, what truly stood out was their warmth and professionalism. They treated every traveler with genuine respect, and their thoughtful, empathetic approach made everyone feel seen and valued. This journey was not just informative—it was deeply personal and memorable, thanks to their outstanding care and insight.
The meeting point was easy to find. It was in one of the large squares, so there was plenty of space for everyone attending it. It was a very short walk to get to the coach. The coach was brand new, it had Wi-Fi and 2 USB charging ports on each row of seats. The driver,Romel, was very good! The tour guide, Marius, gave a lot of useful information throughout the whole trip to Pompeii. We stopped at Cassino, at a small rest stop. Marius gave a brief outline about the importance of the Montecasino Abbey in the WWII. When we arrived at Pompeii, we met our local guide and received headsets. Our guide, Teresa, made sure that we all went through the security check quickly and efficiently. She was funny, caring about the group and very knowledgeable about many small overlooked features, giving a lot of information about the history of each place she showed us. Continuing the trip to Sorento, we had a short stop at a factory to taste the Limoncelo. We had plenty of time to walk around Sorento and to enjoy the beautiful place. It was a very nice experience, very well organised, where we learned a lot of new things!
Great tour with great driver(Cesera) and great guide ( Enrika)... a wonderful, full day from early in the morning until late at nite. Great restaurant for lunch in Sorrento! Great view and wonderful weather. Pompeii was very interesting. The day we went it was extremely hot and lots of people. One negative was that out Pompeii tour guide sometimes didn't wait for the entire group to catch up which caused us to sometimes miss things he said. He was very knowledgable of the material though. The only other thing to note would be that they should allow time after arriving in Pompeii to go use the facilities. We were not able to until after the tour. A bit rough teslly considering it was so hot and eneryone was drinking liquids during the day. All in all however, highly recommended!!
Trip experience was great. Flávio our your guide was amazing, sharing all the relevant information about Rome and the trip. Rommel the driver was great too driving through the narrow lanes. The tour guide at Pompeii was also very good sharing the right amount of information. Overall the trip was great at an amazing price.
This was a tremendous experience and Flavio, our tour guide, made it all the better! Everything was well-organized, the tours were very informative, and the driver (Enrico) was excellent. Highly recommend for a day trip from Rome!
Our tour guide Eduardo and bus driver Enrico and Pompei local tour guide Claudia were excellent!!!! Impressive Sorrento and Pompeii!
A break away from the city was great. The views were spectacular. Our guide Julia was helpful and knowledgeable. The driver knew the roads which made an enjoyable trip.
It was a great mix of seeing so many areas from the historic Pompeii to the beautiful town of Sorrento, mountains to sea and a stop off at a Limoncello factory. Perfect day and Flavio the guide and Luca the driver were amazing.
We had a fantastic day trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast! Sonia (without a Y) was a great guide, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The entire day was well-organized and enjoyable. Of course, the personal highlight for us was spending some time in beautiful Positano.
Heather was such an awesome tour guide and Luca was a great tour bus driver! Everything went awesomely smooth and we got to see so much in just one day! I would book with them in the future always.
Clair was our tour guide for the bus journey and she was excellent. She kept us up to date and informed during the whole trip. We really enjoyed the trip to Sorrento. A lovely town with lots to do re shopping. The visit to Pompeii was exceptional and so worth the visit. The guide had a really good knowledge.
I think it would have been easier for us to do Pompeii at the beginning of the day as it's very tiring. The rest is more relaxed, so it's perfect for the rest of the day. Thank you
The day trip to Sorrento and Pompeii was magnificent. Highly recommended.
The staff was very friendly and relaxed

Our guide Mr. Walter was extremely professional but at the same time managed to create the right atmosphere that recreated for you the periods when the beautiful palace of Caserta was created also he was very punctual
There were 6 of us (three brothers with spouses) and we booked the visit to the Royal Palace and Gardens of Caserta. Our guide Walter was really good, very professional , knowledgeable and very engaging. The 2 hours of the visit flew by among beautiful rooms, paintings and architecture to admire and understand clearly and also in a nice way with the telling of some very funny anecdotes. Truly a wonderful experience !A heartfelt thanks to Walter. Vincenza and siblings from Milan
A good guide, who conveyed the history of art well!!! Very interesting also the use of earphones x not to miss any information!
Our visit to the Royal Palace of Caserta accompanied by Valter was very nice and pleasant, he is very professional and friendly.
The Reggia is beautiful, and our guide Serena Bertolino accompanied us professionally and lightly, making the visit special. Having the same experience without a guide would not have been as exciting. Highly recommended!!!
Our guide was great, knowledgeable and friendly, the 2 hours flew by, and he gave us great tips for visiting after the garden
It was a very interesting visit .Beautiful everything that the guide showed us and well explained . A special credit to the guide who was also very knowledgeable from a historical point of view . It was well worth doing .
Beautiful experience. Our guide, Walter, took us through the tour telling us many curious anecdotes with enthusiasm, cheerfulness and passion. His passion for history, epics and art captured my and my 12-year-old daughter's attention throughout the tour. Highly recommended tour.
Very knowledgeable and professional guide, who gave us a really very intense experience explaining every corner of the Palace with also historical placement of events. Congratulations
Splendid Reggia and beautiful Park. Rooms full of a thousand artistic, historical and architectural details. Very pleasant park with possibility of bike rental or use of shuttle (A/R of 2.5 Euro/person). All perfect. The place is amazing and worthy of the most illustrious international sites. Excellent services, staff present, knowledgeable and friendly. It is a must-see place. It takes over two hours to visit the garden, be careful on sunny days. . There is a cafe inside with self-service at moderate prices. Book tickets online with guided tour(recommended).
Easy to meet the guide, earphones worked perfectly, small group, very good guide mixed historical, artistic and curiosity details perfectly
The guide very knowledgeable and friendly, we arrived 10 min late and he was nice to wait for us
Expertise, preparation and kindness of the guide
The best part was that there were no people around and we were able to tour the palace alone. The place is beautiful

The tour was absolutely amazing. Our archeologist guide Teresa was phenomenal. Her knowledge and passion for Pompeii was contagious. She talked the history, the people, and when walking around painted a picture of how this ancient civilisation operated. We learnt tonnes of cool things about the buildings, excavations and saw everything that was open on the tour. Also learnt about the people, the volcano and how the 1000 bodies were found and why they may have remained on Pompeii. I hadn't heard about the villa of mysteries and this was a super valuable experience as well. To see an excavation site being worked on was super cool and to see the frescos on the walls was amazing. Highly recommend this tour. Super informative and interesting. Thanks again to Teresa who was the absolute best. Could have listened to her talk for hours about Pompeii.
Fantastic tour. Our guide was excellent and really brought to life how it would have been to have lived in the ancient city. Would highly recommend 😁
The experienced and funny tour guide (Anna Sorrento) shared a lot of good information about the city, culture, observations of the past and funfacts
It was an incredible experience! incredibly interesting! Our guide, Anna Sorrento was very good and knowledgeable!
The knowledge of Alessandra and his fluent english
Antonio was amazing, he adjusted our tour to accommodate our needs. The experience was perfect and made us all feel more knowledgeable about Pompeii and daily Roman life. After we finished our time together we were able to explore on our own and use what we learned.

Our guide is archeologist and he worcked himself in Pompei to discover life from 2000 years ago. The experience is beyond words.
Roberta was a brilliant guide - super friendly, knowledgeable and managed our group well. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Pompeii for two hours with a guide. And the transfer to Pompeii from Naples and from Pompeii to Naples was very prompt, handy and simple - just be sure to show up to the transfer on time as they leave right on time!
The Pompeii tour was great, but we didn't take the Vesuvius option because it's falsely included. We had booked it, except that Vesuvius was closed, so we couldn't go. We asked for a refund of the tickets included for the Vesuvius ascent. This was refused. Supposedly, we hadn't taken the Vesuvius option. Be careful with your bookings and go to Getyourguide instead. Thanks anyway to Akos for the visit to Pompeii, which was really great and interesting.
Very well organized transport to and from Pompei. Francesco, our driver a fantastic nice guy who keeps an incredibly high level of service. The guide Jolanta kept a high and good level.
A very interesting story, a professional guide, a good organization.
There was no communication between the driver and the tour guide. We received a phone call telling us to go back to the driver, even though the guided tour was not yet finished. Additionally, the guide in Pompeii did not show us the most important sights. He focused mostly on architecture and brothels, rather than providing a comprehensive overview of the volcanic eruption and its impact on the population. I had expected a tour of the city to focus more on the historical context and the tragedy of the event.
I was amazed by Francesca , our host
Our guide was vey knowledgeable and his English was very easy to understand. Great tour. Thank you
Julia was awesome!!! Very informative and quite funny!!! Thanks
What I liked the most was the tour of Pompeii. The least, that in the message it said that it was optional to go to Vesuvius but that was not possible, because the agency with which we hired told us that this could not be and that they have already told you to remove it from the message.
The group was too big and I didn't see everything I had expected to see in Pompeii, in particular I had expected to see more scenes cast in plaster. The guide was very nice, but the group was also too big with around 30 people and I felt I should have chosen a smaller group. I didn't have any problems with the audio guide, but I had to tick something so that I could send the evaluation.
Very punctual and very professional. Great explanation by our guide.
Maximize your day with a guided Pompeii tour plus your choice of Vesuvius’ crater hike.
