Ma Laura was a kind and experienced guide that game us a lot of information on facts abou Pompei. This tour was great thanks to Ma Laura! Thank you very much!!!
Our time spent at Pompeii was unforgettable. I will treasure the memories forever. What a remarkable place to visit and our tour guide was very so good 😊 explaining everything and showing us all the fascinating sites , steeped in history.
Thanks to the humor and eruption of our archaeologist guide Hillary, we had an extraordinary visit. Bravo, I recommend this formula.

The crowds were enormous, because it was the first Sunday of the month and the entrance for the rest of the people was free. Our guide explained to us that on 2nd of June is the day of the Republic so that's why the crowds were so big. Roberta was great in taking us to see the best places as she used to work there 7 years ago. Although she is small -as she mentioned several times- she could make herself heard and seen and she was the perfect guide. Her knowledge in history and archaeology is only overshined by her great spirit and atitudine. Also, she has a great smile! Thanks, Roberta for the cool experience on such a hot day!
It was really great, the organization was perfect, the guide Antonio was great and gave us a better understanding of the history of this extraordinary site.

I spent HOURS of time looking at tours, reading reviews and weighing one against the other. I am so glad i purchased this tour for our family of 5 (2 adults, 20 year old and 18 year old). Our tour guide - a third generation tour guide - was FABULOUS. He hit the right mix of funny , historically accurate and culturally insightful. He made it personal to the entire group and worked hard to make sure everyone felt included and connected.
In my case, the best part of the activity was the murals and that the paintings were well preserved. And with regard to booking with headout it was super easy and fast, very well organised and also very good guide!! The truth is super recommended!!
Everything was so easy! From booking to meeting place. I was even contacted by WhatsApp to avoid the inconvenience of a free day at pompei which would have been a very busy day. The guided tour was efficient and very interesting. In short, a faultless tour. Thanks to the whole team (I was initially worried when I booked, reading some of the comments). For us: it was perfect!

We enjoyed the experience and our guide was informative, we avoided the crowds. The meeting point instruction was clear (thanks to the Google map photo attached) and it was organized.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. He was great sbout checking in to make sure he wasn't going into too much detail. We learned many new things and this was our 3rd visit to Pompeii.
Our guide was perfect! She was an architect and everything she told us was underlined by the shine in her eyes, which let us feel, that this place is the most fantastic of the world. We'd immediately book another tour with her! The german was super as well and she was very patient and answered every single question we had! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall it was a great tour. The only gripe I may have (I am searching to find a legitimate one) was the crowds and long lines getting in. We waiting for an hour to get through the entry gate. Once inside, it was very fascinating to see the ruins. I didn't know it was such a large city... I recommend this. Roberta was a great guide!! Super fun.
The guide was excellent – professional and pleasant. The tour was fascinating. The meeting point was in a shaded area on the second floor of the train station, but unfortunately, there was no clear signage to help locate it easily.
I loved the private guided tour. The guide had so much information and was so funny. Really enjoyed everything about the tour
The German-speaking guide was excellent and extremely interesting and entertaining. After a two-hour guided tour, we stayed in Pompeii for a few more hours - a fantastic experience to stroll through an ancient city. A visit is highly recommended - as well as sun protection and good shoes! :-)

I thought the guide was great! Cheerful and particularly precise about what she was telling us, she recounted in detail and was able to answer questions.

I did the Pompeii guided tour on Monday 19 May, Our Guide Giuseppe was fabulous - he was obviously passionate about roman history and passed on his knowledge in a friendly, fun manner. After the tour ended I stayed in the park to the end of the day and Giuseppe's tour helped with the rest of my sightseeing afternoon. Thankyou Giuseppe 🙏❤️
Although it was very crowded our guide expertly got us into places where we could see and gave us excellent and interesting commentary and he was fun!
The competence, kindness of our guide. (Mr. Camillo) .The perfect organization, as I had to change the day of the visit reservation in a very short time

Our tour guide Rrrrrrrrosanna, was very engaging, knowledgeable and easy to understand, which made our tour one of the highlights of our holiday. Would definitely recommend anyone to go on this guided tour if going to Pompeii!
The archaeologist guide brought Pompeii to life with riveting and informative explanations. Everything flowed well, and all of the information was digestible. We got to see and learn about many of the interesting areas of Pompeii, and we were given extra advice for things we could explore on our own.
The guide's explanations were very interesting. I emphasize how important it is that the guides are updated on the latest findings. In addition, the funny comments enlivened the speech.

We had a guide in Pompei, Antoniella, who was very good. She didn't recite her text, her explanations were captivating.

Silvia is a great guide! She immerses us in history with humor and lightness. Her explanations allowed us to really immerse ourselves in the place and imagine life as it was back then. Many thanks to her for sharing her passion with us! We highly recommend this visit!

Getting tickets was easy , phone ticket exchanged on the bus for a paper ticket. We did both routes and given the heat and bright sun were pleased to have the roof on. Staff were friendly and attentive .
The itineraries help us tourists reach more places in less time, the staff very helpful and friendly. Special kudos to the drivers who drive in chaotic and quaint traffic.

Saw most of Naples. I took both bus trips which were completely different from each other. It was awesome just to relax a bit and just see beautiful Italy from the bus.
The staff were very stressed and we were simply rushed through and no questions were answered. The signs at the various bus stations were sometimes so small that we had to look for where we could drop off again.

The Hop-on Hop-off bus drive around the coastline of Naples was well worth the price. However, there was often a 30-minute wait standing in line to get on a bus for our trip at the end of May. Bring sunscreen and a good hat for sitting on the upper level of the bus while wating and not hardly moving in the heavy traffic around the city of Naples.
In Naples everything was perfect, the assistant even checked that everyone had their belts on. I also used it in Barcelona in Spain and the headphones were not working in many places.

Good routes, great staff. Some areas of the city were kind of not great, not sure why there was a stop there (e.g. stop 3 on red line)
The view of the sea area of Naples and Posillipo was perfect and well timed . An absolutely unmissable overview!

Very happy having the 3 day pass for both the local public transportation to get to all the various museums and sits in Naples!! Great deal and would highly recommend getting it!!
venue is hard to find, There should have been somebody at the cruise port exit. May be use golf cart to take people. Staff was OK, ticket agent could not point to royal palace entrance. Staff knew italian but most of the people were from US. Sunil
Booked the tour on the website and decidsed to join the tour at stop 7 which was near our hotel. The location of the stop given on the website was completely wrong. When we did find the stop, we had to let the first bus go as it was full.
There is relatively little description and narration, most of the time Italy is playing. Music. In addition, points are often described where the bus has been over for a long time or is not even there yet, and you often don't know which building is actually meant. In addition, more buses should be used or fewer tickets sold when there are large crowds.

Naples traffic is horrific! So glad we could get to see Naples without negotiating traffic. However, found the music in between too loud, but the commentary was quiet.
The ride was good, but the hop off was not obvious- there was no signal button and when we started to prepare for hop off, the officer said to remain in our seat - we worried about missing the stop.
Online ticketing was easy but I had trouble finding the number 7 bus stop. It was a Sunday so the kiosk on the piazza was closed. I enjoyed the coastal views from line b
Easy to find meeting point for bus and good value for both red and blue lines. Seamless ticket process at bus with our online booking. We rode straight to the museum and were rewarded with a quiet experience for the first hour or so. Very large collection of artifacts, well-displayed! Rode the remainder of the red line, had lunch, then hopped on the blue line for a beautiful coastal tour. Great value for all!
In a short time we walked a large part of the city, many beautiful views, it's a pity that the promenade is under renovation because it is one of the major attractions of Napoli

Apart from the fact that the stops are very badly signposted and the time slots are too short, the bus does the job. It's always a good option for discovering a city's main monuments.

We took both routes offered by the service in Naples. Satisfied, very convenient hop-on hop-off service, as always and anywhere in the world, brilliant to get a quick view of the city and surroundings (for Naples 45 min to historic center and 70 min to Posillipo). Could not download e-ticket from app, used reservation code to print ticket at checkout. Happy, thanks.

Interesting tour through the underground of Naples. You will be shown some of the numerous tunnels under the city and told how the inhabitants of Naples used them in times of war. Short narrow passages lead you to a Roman cistern. If you want to see more of these, you should also visit the Lapis Water Museum.

The tour guide was great and also told us an incredible amount. What we didn't think was so good was the size of the group. A few people less and the pace of the tour a little slower, then you could have noticed more and taken a few more photos.

Roberta was a brilliant guide - super friendly, knowledgeable and managed our group well. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Pompeii for two hours with a guide. And the transfer to Pompeii from Naples and from Pompeii to Naples was very prompt, handy and simple - just be sure to show up to the transfer on time as they leave right on time!
Last minutes changes put ne in a bit of a rush. Appreciate that they accomodate and wait for my arrival to start. Micheal the guide/archeologist was a fountain of knowledge, he made it all well worth it. Both Pompeii and Ercolano are well worth visiting.
Very good, Well arranged and a very knowledgable guide. Glad to recommend.
The entire experience was great! We were picked up by bus, got to see Pompeii and Vesuvius, got something good to eat along the way and were supported by our great guide Daniel and our busdriver. Daniel was lot's of fun and explained a lot of interesting historical and local facts to us about Neaples and our destinations. Thank you, I would definitly recommend it +1

Julia was awesome!!! Very informative and quite funny!!! Thanks
The driving was perfect. The guiding was fun and everything perfect apart from that the guide went forward at one time with only half of the group. Luckily it was possible to call one of those who left with her to find out where to go! What we didn't like is that the tour was advertised to start with a pick up at 7:30 but didn't start until 55 minutes later. We only got to know that the tour was to start at 8:30 when another group was picked up from the same company around 8:10. After waiting 40 minutes.

Tickets were easy to obtain. When we arrived at the Herculaneum site we were greeted by the check in lady. We were introduced to the Archaeologist Theresa who was brilliant. The tour started on time with the small group as was promised. We all had headsets and could hear Theresa clearly. Her enthusiasm for her chosen profession was inspiring. I'm so glad she was working with us. I would recommend Theresa and this tour to all who are interested even a little, in the Herculaneum site and its history. You will be drawn in and want to learn more. Herculaneum was the main reason I came to Italy. It was so worth while, I loved every minute. Thank you Theresa!!!
Fascinating history, with detailed and engaging discussion by our very knowledgeable guide Antonella. In 2 hours we covered most highlights of the site, and were free to wander afterwards. We also visited the museum displays afterwards to see many artifacts such as pottery, jewelry, and household items which were recovered from Herculaneum. Walking around the archeological site the ancient paving stones are somewhat uneven, so one must walk carefully, but boardwalks in some areas are helpful. We used the Circumvesuviana train to and from Napoli to get to Ecology, from Garibaldi station.

All went well until I could see I was running late and the contact number given was not available despite trying to call several times. I ended up having to call head office to contact them, all this being rather stressful for me as I was trying with difficulty to negotiate the railway system... perhaps a reminder could be sent on the day or the tour with a working telephone number in case of delay getting to the meeting point etc. I didn't want up hold the rest of the group and indeed I was able to catch them up at the site eithout too much delay. The guide was very informative and amusing though a little too obsessed with poop and pee etc! Also rather disparaging about other guides and tourist "idiots" and the "ugly" museum!😂. I think he thought we would all be amused by this but I'm not sure everyone was!! He is extremely knowledgeable and energetic and had plenty of excellent visual aids to illustrate various explanations and points he was making.
Flavia , very professional , with the first part of the visit in the museum , and passionate and fascinating We recommend her

I liked the picture showing where to pick the tickets up. Good comms and person meeting us was very helpful. The tour was amazing and very interseting.
Vicenzo was enormously knowledgeable and did an amazing job communicating that knowledge and passion for the material in an entertaining way. Absolutely amazing, would 100% recommend!
Our guide on the tour was passionate about the archaeology and explained the lifestyle of the people in a very informative and light-hearted manner, it was most enjoyable, thanks
Great management, but non-transparent ticket regulations and poor customer service We booked a guided tour at 3 pm for €40 per person. The tour was really excellent - our guide Vincenzo was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and took a lot of time to answer our questions. We learned a lot and were able to continue exploring the site on our own after the tour until closing time. However, we were very disappointed with the way the admission regulations were handled in advance: it was not clear on the website that access to the site was only possible from 3 pm. As two hours is very short for the entire tour, we wanted to explore the site on our own before the tour. We were refused - on the grounds that the ticket was only valid for a single entry. Unfortunately, the provider was not very solution-oriented in this situation. We were not taken seriously on the phone and no help was offered. We were forced to buy an additional ticket, which increased the price per person to over €50 - significantly more than originally expected. Conclusion: The tour itself is highly recommended, but the provider urgently needs to work on its communication and customer service. Anyone booking should find out exactly what the access conditions are beforehand.

This experience is perfect if you want to to spend a day to venture further afield from Rome. We got the chance to see Pompeii and to spend some time in the beautiful Sorrento. We weren't sure if we would have enough time in Pompeii but with the heat and lack of shade, we appreciated the time restraints and felt we had enough time in Pompeii. I'd highly recommend and it was the highlight of our trip.
I loved the experience of seeing so much in one day, Pompeii and Sorrento were breathtaking. However Personally I think you need to have less time spent in Sorrento and more foxus on Pompeii. I felt that we were only barely able to scratch the surface of Pompeii and the tour felt very rushed
I loved this trip, everything was so organised and our guide Rob (Roberto) was so lovely and funny! His story telling skills would draw you in!
The guided tour was well worth the price. Laura and Romel were excellent guides and really made the experience enjoyable. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I expected a bit more from the Pompeii portion of the tour. That said, the overall experience was fabulous! The Amalfi Coast was absolutely stunning, and Laura even gave us small gifts and helpful tips on places to visit. A memorable and well-organized tour!
Barbara and Antonio were incredible, Barbara is such a great host we were so enthralled and had the best day! San gaudioso (included in the same ticket) was less spectacular and the guide much less comprehensible. Nevertheless, this is a must-see on any trip to Naples. Unfortunately, no photos allowed!

Our guide was very interesting and friendly, answering all our questions. Nevertheless, we thought the tour would be a little longer and that we'd see more of the underground passages. You ask for photos, but it's forbidden to take them in the catacombs, which is a shame!

A spectacular tour with a guide, Emanuel, who transmitted information with precision, rhythm, feeling, excellent humor and love for an amazing city.

The guide (Valentina) was very good at explaining the route to us, linking past and present and emphasizing the cultural and emotional value of the initiatives carried out by the La Paranza cooperative

Seeing and getting to know Matera live was a really interesting experience. From the TV reports or the various photographs shown here and there, one cannot at all grasp the beauty and uniqueness of the place, and then the story told by the guide helps you imagine the context and the hard life lived by the locals.

The very knowledgeable guide thoroughly explained the site. Also interesting was the tour of the historical archive offered by the Royal Palace of Caserta, a small tour of the military settlements of German and then American troops during World War II

We particularly appreciated the guide's preparation and competence and, last but not least, his friendliness, which never hurts.

The tour was great there was a guide on bus that told you a Little about what you were seeing and a bit of history. Only wish we could have stopped at the top of Mount Vesuvius. Tho you do get to stop at an observation spot for a few quick pics. The guide we had at Pompeii was excellent she was very knowledgeable and fun. Also she tried to keep you in the shade as much as possible. The pizza place was alright only problem is drinks weren't included and it's 4 euros for a coke. There then that it was an awesome experience!
Everything was very well organized. The guides were very nice and friendly. The guide in Pompeii was also nice and conveyed the knowledge well. The food was great, but I would have liked them to explain to us what exactly was on the table. On the Versuv we went up by bus and straight back down again. We would have liked to have been able to walk up a bit more. All in all, a very nice trip, as long as you don't mind long (very long) bus rides

I found the nstructions poor and therefore my experice was bad
First of all, thank you for this day. Even though it's over 600km from Rome, it was worth every effort. Seeing Pompeii is a highlight. Superbly preserved, you get a wonderful insight into Roman life. Via Appia Antica is an orphan compared to the roads here. The paintings are also very well preserved. The funniest thing we found was the 90 fast food stations for local residents. At first we were worried that we would only see a small corner in the two hours. But our local guide had a great route and we were able to see a lot. Vesuvius was much more stressful afterwards. You are chased up the mountain on a full stomach and have to be back down at a certain time. I can say one thing. We're not the least fit, but it was close. We were two minutes late. One criticism in passing. The restaurant for the toilet break is outrageously overpriced. From time to time the trip feels like a coffee run. But let's put that to one side, you can decide against it and not buy anything. The day was great and we would book it again and again.

Our guide was great. He was young and excited and his English was very good. Manuelo (?) was ideal to represent your company to a foreigner. It was a very full itinerary and the included lunch was delicious and FILLING!
I thought Pompeii was good and I would have liked to have had longer. It felt like we'd just touched on the story and didn't get to see any tombs apart from one. Also I thought we were going to walk up Vesuvius from the bottom to top not be driven up there to walk the last 20 minutes. Also we had to wait for our guide to translate into Spanish at each section because we had a couple who were Spanish whilst the rest of us were English. I'm sure we would have seen a lot more had this not been the case.
This Pompii & Mount Vesuvius tour started dot on time. All along our guide Laura was awsome. She was exprienced guide very friendly and professional. She took care of each passenger on board. The driver Dan was also lovely. The tour was organised well with frequent toilet breaks and covered all what was in the itinerary.
We booked Rome to Pompei and Vesuvio experience for the family of five. Everything went as scheduled. Our coordinator during the trip mentioned several interesting facts about Rome. In Pompei we had our own guide, same while climbing Vesuvio. BTW, our bus stopped by the shortest path to the top which was very convinient. I sincerely recommend this experience!
The Vesúvio tour was really good, and the guide was attentive. The Pompeii tour itself was good, but the guide was not a really good English speaker (we could understand the major part, but sometimes it was not possible to understand her). Eduardo - the general guide - was really sweet with us!
Everything went well and according to plan. Our Leader Guide was very friendly and thoughtful, always wanting to know if everything was alright with everyone - there was a older lady in our group that had issues dealing with the heat and tiredness, he made sure that everything went smoothly, both for that lady and for the rest of the group (safety and time management wise). He gave us very interesting information regarding relevant key points of the tour during our bus ride. At our stop at the marvellous and enormous ancient city of Pompey, we were accompanied by a lovely local Guide, who was very informative as well as very funny. After the visit to Pompey we went to lunch to a designated restaurant, the food was ok, nothing special but included. The drinks were not included as advertised, however the big glass bottle of water that we asked for came already opened and by its awful taste it was clearly water that it as been refilled and was probably store under the sun in a plastic container. Moreover the drinks were clearly overpriced. We stop drinking it and requested a new plastic bottle which was sealed. For the Vesuvius visit, we changed quickly and smoothly to a smaller and comfortable panoramic bus with a clear rooftop (provided shade). During the ride up to the Volcano with listen to an Audio Guide provided in 8 languages. After climbing 1000m up the mountain by bus, we got of the bus and made a brief hike with another local guide. He was very nice and informative, however had some trouble speaking in English - although it was more or less easy to understand. Our final stop before returning to Rome was a very quick visit to a Coral/Camos jewelry workshop/factory/store were they make pieces of jewellery with metal such as gold and silver combined with seashells - very pretty and especially expensive. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
Pompeii, a must. Our guides, Cristina and the local one, were magnificent, efficient, very kind, patient; 10 out of 10. The Vesuvius experience was a little short because, although it did not consist of going up to the crater, the explanations of the local guide left much to be desired. Still, it is well worth it to go up in the windowless bus with a driver as attentive as the one we had.

What I liked most about the head out ticket experience was the ease in which the transaction happened. It was very easy.
